Orthodontist
An orthodontist is a dental specialist who has completed additional training to fix misaligned teeth. An orthodontist identifies issues related to the alignment and position of the teeth in your mouth. Orthodontists can maneuver teeth closer together, farther apart, forward or back to correct alignment and occlusion issues. An initial consultation with an orthodontist is recommended for children around the age of seven years old. You are never too old to improve the alignment and position of your teeth and an orthodontic consultation at any age can help you see what is possible to improve health and appearance of your smile.
Periodontist
A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. A periodontist is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of oral inflammation and gum disease. Periodontists receive extensive training in these areas, including three additional years of education beyond dental school. Our periodontal surgeon uses laser technology for periodontal treatment and specializes in performing cosmetic periodontal procedures including dental implants.
Pediatric Dentist
Pediatric dentists are focused on the oral health care of children from infancy through the teen years. They have the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood. A pediatric dentist completes four years of dental school and an additional two years of residency training in dentistry for infants, children, teens, and children with special needs. Our pediatric dentists can provide a gentle and secure experience for your child and offer conscious sedation when necessary for extremely anxious patients.
Endodontist
Endodontists are dentists who specialize in maintaining teeth by taking care if the soft inner tissue of teeth, called the pulp. All dentists are trained to diagnose and provide endodontic treatment however, some teeth can be especially difficult to diagnose and treat. Our endodontic specialist is available to collaborate with our team of dentists and provide more complex root canal therapy that might be necessary. Endodontists receive two or more years of advanced education where they study root canal techniques and procedures in greater depth, for diagnosis and treatment of more difficult cases.
